Imad Salamey is an associate professor of Political Science and International Affairs at the Lebanese American University (LAU). He is a Program Coordinator of the Maxwell School of International Relations’ Leaders for Democracy Fellows at LAU, and a member of the Middle East Task Force (MEST) on Religion, Identity, and Counter Extremism at the Atlantic Council. In 2014 Salamey published his first book, ''The Government and Politics of Lebanon'', where he examines the Lebanese sectarian politics of conflict and concession at different historical periods, unraveling the role of domestic and international factors in shaping the country's future. His research records include studies and reports on Lebanese and Middle Eastern politics.
